The latest PowerSquare™ 160VFX introduces a dual bin feeder with substantial capacity, providing a versatile solution for producing booklets of various types and sizes. The system is powered by the VFX vacuum-assisted feeder, capable of handling loads up to 21 inches for extended, seamless production. It accommodates pre-collated sets in both bins for extended runs, or alternatively, one bin can be used for covers that need to be integrated with collated sets. The feeder’s design allows for on-the-fly loading with an automatic bin transition feature. Additionally, optional barcode readers can be installed on the VFX to manage variable page count projects or to maintain the consistency of the sets.

Two-Knife Trimmer
The PowerSquare Two-Knife Trimmer (P2T) is a sleek unit that finalizes the booklet creation by precisely trimming the book’s top and bottom margins. It’s an ideal professional-grade solution for full-bleed prints, crucial for color-intensive projects.
With full automation via the PowerSquare’s interface, it can trim up to 40mm from each book end, with adjustable trim positioning to align with the print image. The trimmings are efficiently expelled to an external, high-capacity waste container, facilitating uninterrupted production.
Up to 6 staples per set
The PowerSquare 160 now has the capability to apply up to six staples per book. Making it possible to run smaller applications 2 or 3up on a set, saving valuable time and money.
