Five-Color RMGT 9 Series LED-UV Press Will Be Running Live at PRINTING United

Dallas, TX, Oct. 1, 2019--RMGT proudly announces that the award-winning RMGT 9 Series offset press will help kick off the inaugural PRINTING United show in Dallas on Oct. 23-25, 2019.

“With over 70 new installations since our first exhibit at Graph Expo 2014, we felt that once again running live demonstrations of our press at the first PRINTING United would draw crowds to the show and to our booth,” states Kian Hemmen, Director of Sales, Print & Finishing Solutions, the RMGT Distributor for the Southwestern U.S.

“Our Commit to Print booth will focus closely on bringing greater profit to what is still the largest portion of most commercial printer’s annual revenue; offset print.  Seeing is believing and we will demonstrate live how RMGT printers enjoy a huge reduction in manufacturing cost through investment in our RMGT 9 Series press,” continues Hemmen. The 5-Color with Coater press featuring LED-UV curing, fully-automated plate changing and Insta.Color make-ready automation will run live press demonstrations every hour, on the half hour and visitors will witness for themselves how RMGT technology is redefining the economics of print throughout North America.

Visitors to the RMGT Commit to Print Booth No. 9551 located in the Commercial & Packaging Pavilion of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, will be able to experience live demonstrations taking actual jobs from live print to finished product. The RMGT press will produce LED-UV cured 16-page signatures that are then cut down using an Itotec eRC Robocut paper cutter before the Standard Horizon StitchLiner Mark III saddle-binds the 20-page booklets. The finished booklets will be distributed during the show.

Another highlight of the live printing demonstration will be 2020 Calendars produced for the Museum of Printing, based in Haverhill, Mass. “We are grateful to RMGT for creating a printed calendar that leverages print and elements of augmented reality in telling unique stories in the history of print,” states Frank Romano, Director of the Museum of Printing. There will be autograph sessions during the show where Frank Romano will be signing copies of this unique calendar.
